Services for Nellie Marie Potter Burch, 82, Terrell, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, at First Church of Nazarene, Terrell, with pastors Judy Castro and Mike Potter officiating.
Burial was in Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wills Point, under direction of Goggans Funeral Home, Terrell.
Mrs. Burch died July 27, 2008, at her residence.
She was born January 26, 1926 in Point to William E. and Nellie Vance Potter. She was a resident of Mesquite prior to moving to Terrell, where she was a longtime resident. She was an assistant buyer for Neiman Marcus for 16 years prior to retiring. She was a member of First Church of Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Eugene Burch; and her parents.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Rhonda and Carey Streetman, Terrell, and Wanda Miller, Yankton, S.D.; son and daughter-in-law, Gary Lynn and Teri Burch, Poetry; sister, Lorene Hodge, Dallas; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Oleta Potter, Crandall; brother-in-law, J.K. Burch, Jackson, Miss.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
