Hump Day Huddle, the weekly radio program devoted to high school football in Van Zandt County, will be broadcasting live every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. from Dukes Burgers & Sports Co. in Canton.

Dukes Burgers and Sports Co. is located at 30176 SH 64 (intersection of Interstate 20 and SH 64).

The program can be heard on Canton radio station KWJB (95.1 FM and 1510 AM) as part of the joint effort recently announced by Van Zandt Newspapers L. L. C. and KWJB to cover high school football in Van Zandt County for the 2017 season.

Hump Day Huddle is hosted by David Barber, sports correspondent for Van Zandt Newspapers, and T. A. Hale and Shawn Stewart from the KWJB “Buzz Brothers.”

The Tuesday night live broadcast of Hump Day Huddle will also be replayed on KWJB every Wednesday at 12 noon and 5 p.m.

The one-hour show each week will feature varsity football information on the Canton Eagles, the Van Vandals, the Wills Point Tigers, the Grand Saline Indians, the Edgewood Bulldogs and the Fruitvale Bobcats.

Barber, Hale and Stewart will review the previous Friday night football action in the county and look ahead to the upcoming Friday night matchups.

All Van Zandt County football fans are invited to come out to Dukes to the live broadcast of Hump Day Huddle every Tuesday night.
